Here's a few short clips from our Grain-to-Grain Transfer chapter. Using the G2G chapter on our DVD, you’ll learn to take one fully colonized jar of organic rye berries, or any other cereal grain or even popcorn, and use it to inoculate ten more jars of sterilized grains for growing mushrooms. This process can be repeated several times, resulting in truckloads of mushroom spawn. The keys to success are to have a very clean room, and use a glovebox as described in the BRF/PF Tek Part 2 video, or a laminar flow hood as demonstrated in this video clip.
As with all aspects of working with grains, use the the most sterile procedures possible. Wear surgical gloves and mask, hairnet, etc.
